Let me first just say that these two weeks' lack of broadband connection has been a true test of character. I never realized how much I depended on the world wide web until the fateful day when my neighbor put a security lock on his wireless. Suddenly I was cut off from the happenings of the world. No news, no facebook, no looking at other people's art online--my world has been turned upside down. Now I'm just a lonely lonely girl sitting in a dark and cold house in Shakopee.
But all is not lost! We do have dial-up. Although at 49.296 Kbps, I'm not quite sure if I'd rather choose death. My patience has been pushed to the limit and my emotions have been running wild. But I shall endure this torture; whatever doesn't kill me only makes me stronger.
The future looks grim but rest assured my friends, I will prevail! Thank goodness for the coffee shop nearby that holds my salvation.
